What makes Special Edition different from the free game?

Special Edition is not simply the standard game with advertising removed. It adds a story chapter about the young Sensei and his past, providing more background for an important character in the campaign. Sensei memories also appear in each Act, adding further narrative context as the player advances.

The edition also changes several parts of the usual progression experience:
